Solskin på flaske

The jar of sunflowers turned out even cheerier than the photo suggested, and the dry brush step for the textured backdrop was surprisingly forgiving for a beginner like me. I spent a relaxed afternoon layering the petals and it genuinely lifted my mood.

The dry brush technique for the background was honestly the most fun part—it gives it that rustic, textured look without needing any fancy skills. I added the sunflowers in about an hour and the whole jar scene just makes my kitchen counter feel brighter.

The sunflowers came out so cheerful I actually smiled the whole time I was painting. The dry-brush background gives it that rustic feel without needing any extra supplies, and I love that you can improvise with the vase or add more blooms if the mood strikes.
