糖骷髏

The dark background really makes the gold and bright paint pop—I didn’t expect the details to stand out this much once I started. Finished it in one sitting because I couldn’t put the brush down.

The dark background really does all the heavy lifting—my colors popped instantly without me having to blend much. I hung it in my dining room as a Dia de los Muertos centerpiece and it gets compliments every single time.

I’ve never painted anything this intricate before, but the dark background just guides you along, making every petal and swirl pop without getting lost. The ornate details kept me focused for a whole weekend, and it’s now the centerpiece of my living room.
