Fuji

The cherry blossom trees were the highlight for me—the way the kit guides you through their graceful lines makes even a beginner feel like a real painter. I’ve already got it framed in my living room, and the rolling countryside layers give it so much depth.

The layering technique for the rolling countryside is so well-explained that my hills actually look dimensional on the first try. I've never painted cherry blossoms before, but the guide made those graceful lines feel almost meditative.

The way the cherry blossoms are broken down into simple petal strokes made the whole scene feel achievable, even for a beginner like me. I loved watching the rolling countryside come alive as I layered each wash, and the final result looks like a quiet morning in Japan.
