Eld på himlen

The upward perspective really makes you feel like you're lying on the grass watching the leaves drift down, and the color mixing guide for those fiery oranges was spot on. I finished it in two evenings and the depth it gives the sky is genuinely impressive.

The perspective exercise was the star here—following the guide to paint the branches reaching overhead really sold that dizzying upward view. The autumn leaf colors mixed beautifully against the blue sky sections. I've hung it in the hallway and people always stop to look up at it.

The way the branches and leaves angle upward really sells the looking-into-the-sky feel—my ceiling almost disappeared while I was painting. The azure-to-fiery color blend in the background was surprisingly forgiving for a beginner like me, and the whole thing came together in one relaxing afternoon.
