The frosty color palette is so calming—I lost track of time painting the fur on his little hat. The icicles are surprisingly easy to layer, and the finished scene looks straight out of a winter postcard.

The icicles look so delicate when they’re finished, and the gnome’s little face was way easier to get right than I expected. I put on some holiday music and finished the whole scene in one cozy afternoon, which never happens with other kits.

The frosty palette is so calming, I lost track of time finishing the gnome’s beard in one sitting. Even the icicle highlights came out looking genuinely translucent, which surprised me for a kit this simple.
