Toscana Tapeçaria

The vineyard rows feel almost tactile, like you could reach in and trace the lines between the greens and golds. I poured a glass of chianti while painting it, and the whole scene just came together in a way that made the afternoon disappear.

The way the wheat fields blur into the vineyards as you paint the distance is genuinely calming, and the villa details give it just enough challenge to keep you hooked. Sat down with my espresso and finished the sky in one sitting.

The vineyard patchwork is the star here—each little field has its own color and texture, and the villa sits perfectly behind it all. I did the olive grove section first and the layering just feels right, like you're actually building the landscape. Finished it over a weekend with a glass of Chianti
