Asas Safira

The bokeh technique in the background came out so dreamy—it’s the first time my painting actually looks like a photo. The step-by-step on layering the blues for the wings was easy to follow, even for a beginner like me.

The butterfly’s sapphire wings look almost alive on the canvas, and the step-by-step bokeh trick turned out way easier than I thought it would. I finished the whole piece in one rainy afternoon and it’s already framed in my living room.

The bokeh background technique is honestly genius—I followed the steps and got that dreamy, blurred light effect on my first try, which I was not expecting for a beginner. Once the butterfly was done, those sapphire tones really popped next to the flower.
