Sunset in Chicago

I was a little nervous about tackling the texture technique, but the instructions made it surprisingly easy to follow. The end result has this lovely, dimensional quality to the sky that really captures that bright Chicago sunset feel.

The bright color blending in this one is stunning, and the texture technique gives the sky so much depth it feels like you could reach into it. I've done a few paint kits before, but this Chicago twist on the classic scene really makes it stand out on my wall.
