Life is Sweet

The paint-by-number sections are well-marked, so I didn’t have to squint or guess where each color went—it made the whole calavera duo come together smoothly over two evenings. The finished piece has a fun, festive vibe that’s perfect for our living room wall.

I was a little nervous about painting two skulls instead of one, but the pre-printed canvas made it so easy to keep the details crisp. The paint dried quickly enough that I could layer highlights without smudging, and my date and I finished in one fun evening.

The skulls came out so vibrant, the paint covered the canvas lines perfectly with just two coats. We did this for our anniversary and laughed the whole time at how goofy our calaveras looked. Definitely a fun twist on the usual date night.
