The splash-of-color technique was so much fun to try, and the soft background blur genuinely made my butterfly look like it was floating. I finished the whole piece in one relaxed afternoon.

The step-by-step shapes for the butterfly were so easy to follow, even for a total beginner like me. I loved how the splashes of color brought the whole painting to life, and the soft background turned out dreamier than I expected.

The blurred background technique finally clicked for me — the tutorial breaks it down so clearly that my butterfly actually looks like it's floating in a dreamy garden. I loved how the simple shapes made the drawing feel doable even as a total beginner, and the color splashes really bring it to life
