The reflective helmet tutorial is the standout—my kid actually gasped when the glass effect showed up on the page. We’ve done three galaxies in two days, and the steps are clear enough that I didn’t have to hover. It’s messy in the best way.

My 7-year-old couldn’t wait to try the reflective helmet trick, and watching her mix the dark blues and purples for the galaxy background was pure magic. The step-by-step tutorial made even the tricky glass-like shine feel doable for a beginner. We’ve already hung the finished painting in her room.

The galaxy painting tutorial is so well laid out that my 7-year-old painted a swirling nebula on her first try without any help. That reflective helmet lesson is genius—it actually looks like glass when she follows the steps.
