Jakt på fossefall

The layering on those teal mountains came together surprisingly fast, and the finished lagoon looks so glassy it’s almost photo-like. I kept staring at the waterfall detail after it dried—definitely worth the slow afternoon it took to finish.

The lagoon came out glassier than I expected once I layered the blues in the order the guide suggested, and that white rush of the falls really pops against the dark volcanic rock. Took me a relaxed weekend to finish, and the misty teal mountains in the background gave it just the right depth.

The misty teal mountains were the trickiest part to get right, but the guide made it feel foolproof, and the white rush of the falls really pops once you layer it on top. I’ve already got it framed above my desk, and it honestly looks like a photo from a travel magazine.
