I was nervous the dark-to-light color transitions would look muddy, but following the step-by-step for the aurora ribbons made it turn out surprisingly smooth. Painting the tiny stars over the dry sky was my favorite part—it really makes the whole scene pop.

The color blending instructions are so clear that my first ribbon of aurora light actually looks like it’s glowing, and the star technique gives the sky real depth. I finished the whole painting in about an hour and it’s already hanging in my hallway.
