Montre Harvest

The golden wheat rows were the part I dreaded most, but the paint flows smoothly enough that even my shaky hand got those amber strokes looking right. The autumn sky background softens exactly like the picture shows, and the scarecrow’s straw hat turned out wonderfully.

The scarecrow’s patched shirt came together so much quicker than I expected, and watching that amber wheat field take shape under the soft autumn sky was genuinely relaxing. I’ve already got it drying in my hallway, it’s going to look great there.

Painting the scarecrow’s patched shirt was my favorite part—the kit’s sections are laid out so clearly I didn’t once worry about muddying the amber grain. The autumn sky softened just like the photo, and I’m honestly a little proud to hang it in my kitchen.
