Merennoidon taika

My niece asked to paint mermaids with me every day this week, and having two canvases means we can each do our own version then compare. Setting up took no time at all, and she stayed focused way longer than I expected for a six-year-old.

The two canvases are the perfect size for a coffee-table project, and the paint pots stayed wet long enough for us to take our time layering the tail scales. Painting side-by-side with my daughter and watching her pick her own mermaid colors was honestly the sweetest hour of our week. The paired canvases make it feel like we're creating one shared story, and the paint stayed vibrant without needing endless coats.
