Kaklatus kaklatus

The bright plumage really pops once you get the paint on—my kids loved mixing the oranges and reds for the tail feathers. It turned out festive enough to hang on the wall for Thanksgiving, and the paint dried with a nice, smooth finish. We had a messy but thoroughly fun afternoon with this kit.

The feathers fan out in this gorgeous rainbow of colors—my kid painted it in one sitting and it’s now hanging in the kitchen, making us smile every time we walk past. It’s a simple project but the payoff feels way bigger than the effort.

The little guy’s feathers are so vibrant they instantly brightened my kitchen nook, and the tutorial made it easy for my kid to follow along. We hung it up right before Thanksgiving dinner and got tons of compliments.
