Smoky Mountain Sonnenuntergang

Spent a lazy Sunday afternoon with this kit and the mists in the valleys turned out way better than I expected—that simple color layering genuinely does the heavy lifting. The instructions were clear enough that I finished the whole thing before my sweet tea even went lukewarm.

The color trick for atmospheric perspective really clicked for me—the mists came out looking layered and soft instead of muddy. Easy to finish over an afternoon while the tea glass sweats on the table.

I’ve been chasing that hazy mountain look in my own paintings for years, so the color trick for atmospheric perspective alone was worth the price of the kit. The mists and sunset embers came together way easier than I expected for a one-hour project, and I’m already eyeing the wall to hang it.
