Dlouhá cesta domů

The deep blue sky against all that white snow is exactly what drew me in, and the way the path leads your eye through the scene makes it feel like you're standing right there in the quiet. I finished it in one sitting, and the stillness of that snowy night really came through on the canvas.

The snow drifts and the path’s curve feel so still that I almost held my breath painting it. That deep navy sky with the quiet whites came together beautifully, and the whole scene keeps drawing me back for a calmer look.

That deep blue sky against the snow really pops once you finish the sky section—the contrast is exactly what drew me in. I’ve done a few kits before and this one’s composition has a quiet pull that makes you want to keep painting past your bedtime.
